CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 15-year-old boy was killed in a shooting on Chicago's Far South Side that left another teenager injured.
It happened near 109th and Perry in Roseland neighborhood around 11 p.m. Saturday when police say a car pulled up and several people got out and started shooting.
A memorial has been set up for 15-year-old Dekarlos Scott at the scene.
His 16-year-old friend was also hit, but survived.
"We made it about five feet away from that gate, we heard, 'Pop, pop,'" he said. "I thought I seen my homey out the back of my eye fall and then I heard, 'Pop, pop.' That's when I got shot in the shoulder and I fell off curb and I got back up, and my shoes was off and I ran, I just kept going."
Police say no arrests have been made in the case.
