CHICAGO --With Chicago's record breaking violence being front and center in the headlines, it's easy to forget that there are people who are doing good in our community, even those who started on the wrong side of the law. Last week, Windy City Live launched the new series "4-Star-Chicagoan" to do just that.
This week, WCL focused on a man who turned his life around after spending 14 years in prison for a gang related murder. His mission now is to connect young people in Chicago's most violent areas with combat veterans.
Eddie Bocanegra created Urban Warriors to connect combat veterans with youth in Chicago's violent neighborhoods and teaches how to cope with trauma and prevent future crime.
