Autopsies are planned in the deaths of four people, including three children, whose bodies were found in a northern Illinois home destroyed by a weekend fire.

The Rockford Register Star reports the Winnebago County Coroner's Office will complete the autopsies Monday to determine whether the fire or something else caused the deaths.

The coroner's office says the victims included a 27-year-old, a 9-year-old, a 6-year-old and a 6-month-old infant.

The newspaper says firefighters responded to the blaze in a single-family home around 5 a.m. on Saturday. Fire department officials say the house was already engulfed in flames by the time they arrived.
