Man who robbed Rahm Emanuel's son sentenced in 2 separate cases

Phillip Payne, 19, the man who robbed Mayor Rahm Emanuel's son in 2014, was sentenced in two unrelated crimes last week.

Payne pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen vehicle and manufacturing and delivering cocaine.

Payne was sentenced to seven consecutive years in prison, three years for the stolen car and four for the cocaine. Payne is also eligible for a prison boot camp program.

He pleaded guilty in December 2014 to robbing Zach Emanuel. He was 17 at the time.
