CPD officers no longer have to cover up tattoos

Chicago police officers no longer have to keep tattoos covered up.

The policy was put into place by Former Superintendent Garry McCarthy. Now Superintendent Eddie Johnson is relaxing the uniform rule.

Johnson said officers are under a lot of pressure lately and if easing up uniform rules helps, then he's in.
