The city will roll out new plans Thursday to deal with the heroin and prescription painkiller addiction epidemic in Chicago.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel wants to increase by 50 percent the money going to addiction treatment. He also wants new regulations for pharmaceutical representatives.

Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Julie Morita joined ABCC7 News This Morning to talk about how severe the opioid problem is in the city.
