CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 13-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in the West Englewood neighborhood Friday night, Chicago police said.

Police said the boy was walking with friends through a vacant lot in the 6800-block of South Paulina Street when three other people began shooting at about 9 p.m.

The boy was wounded and transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition.

Police are investigating and no one is in custody.
