CHICAGO (WLS) -- We talk about Election Day, but thanks to early voting, people here in in Illinois can cast their ballots more than a month ahead of time.

It's convenient and apparently, really popular. In the last presidential election, more than one million people took advantage of early voting.

So what are you options? Where and when you can vote? And where do you register if this is your first election or if you need to make a change to your voter registration?

Answering those questions and more are Marisel Hernandez, Chairwoman of the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners and Cook County Clerk David Orr.

For more information, visit the Cook County Clerk's website and the Chicago Board of Elections website.
