Christkindlmarket to open Nov. 18 in Daley Plaza

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Christkindlmarket is set to open Nov. 18 in Daley Plaza in Chicago.

On Monday, set-up began for the annual European Christmas village, which draws thousands of visitors and features 60 vendors, selling food, drinks, holiday ornaments and gifts.

The market runs through Christmas Eve.

Daley Plaza is located on Washington between Dearborn and Clark streets. The market will be open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays through Saturdays.

On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Even, the market will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
