Brighter days are ahead for the animal many called the "world's saddest polar bear."
"Pizza" the polar bear has been living in a small enclosure at a shopping center in southern China.
One of the several videos distributed this year of Pizza, show him swaying his head and pacing. Some animal experts said that is a sign of frustration and mental decline. Those videos have been viewed by animal lovers around the world.
Animal Asia, an animal-rights group, collected 850,000 signatures on a petition to close Grandview Mall Aquarium.
The mall said it relocated the bear to renovate the enclosure. Pizza was moved to an ocean park, where the bear can be reunited with its parents.
