CHICAGO --Three big shows are headed to Chicago and the time to gets tickets for them is now.
Broadway In Chicago brings the stage musical based on the hit film to the Oriental Theatre after a run on London's West End. R&B singer Deborah Cox stars as Rachel Maron, the role Whitney Houston played. Of course, the only person on the planet who can sing Whitney songs remotely like Whitney is Deborah Cox. Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 18 at BroadwayInChicago.com. The show plays Jan. 31-Feb. 17. To hear Deborah Cox sing some of the songs from the show, check out the trailer below.
Sting's new album, "57th & 9th," now has a tour by the same name. He's hitting the road, but this time the legendary singer is playing theatres, clubs and just some arenas. Sting also plans to have a 3-piece band with him. Even better for Chicago fans, the show is at the Aragon Ballroom on March 3, 2017. The ballroom has a capacity of 5,000 people, so you are getting to see Sting in a great, small setting. Tickets go on sale for Sting on Monday, Nov. 21 at LiveNation.com.
Bruno Mars' new album, "24K Magic," drops on Friday, Nov. 18, just days before you can buy tickets to "The 24K Magic World Tour." Mars will play two dates at United Center, Aug. 16 and 18th, 2017. Tickets for those shows go on sale Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 at LiveNation.com. Check out the video for the title track to the album below.
