KANKAKEE, Ill. (WLS) -- An employee at the Kankakee School District is on paid leave after a series of controversial Facebook posts.

One of the posts in question shows President Barack Obama with a noose around his neck. Another shows a gallows with a caption about "leaving traitors twisting in the wind at the end of a rope." A third graphic combines an image of a noose and Hillary Clinton.

The Kankakee school superintendent said they hope to wrap up an investigation into the incident on Friday and make a recommendation at a special school board meeting.
