CHICAGO (WLS) -- A deadly New Year's Day shooting could result in the shutdown of a North Side business.

Alderman James Cappleman (Ward 46) has asked the city to close the restaurant Iyanze after two people shot each other and later died from their injuries.

The alderman said that people in the area have complained about how disruptive the restaurant has been in the past.

Ald. Cappleman has asked the Chicago Police Department to close the business under the "problem building" ordinance.
