Pillow Talk: The "best" man?

Monday's question comes from Confused in Grayslake.

She wrote, "One of my sons is getting married in the fall and he did not choose one of his two brothers to be his best man, he chose a friend. While this friend has been a friend for many years I don't believe he's a 'good' friend. When the two of them are out and another friend is around the 'best man' treats my son differently. One of my sons that did not get picked is extremely upset and angry, he is even saying he may not attend the wedding. This is very devastating to my husband and me."
