19-year-old shot in Streeterville after fireworks

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 19 -year-old man was shot and wounded in the Streeterville neighborhood Saturday night, just blocks from the big Navy Pier fireworks show.

The man shot in the abdomen and taken to Northwestern Hospital. A suspect is in custody and a weapon was found at the scene, police said.

The shooting happened in the 200-block of East Ohio Street at about 10 p.m., shortly after the fireworks show ended.
