Officers climbing high for Special Olympics Illinois
On May 19, officers from around the area will climb atop more than 260 Dunkin' Donuts locations for the 15th Cop on a Rooftop campaign.

On May 19, 2017 from 5 a.m. - 2 p.m., officers from around the area will climb atop more than 260 Dunkin' Donuts locations for the 15th Cop on a Rooftop campaign.

The event raises donations and awareness for the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Illinois. Special Olympics athletes and their families and representatives from Chicago's major sports teams are among the special guests who will join police officers and rise to the occasion to show their support.

In honor of the special occasion, Dunkin' Donuts is donating $15,000 to the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run. Guests donating at least $10 will receive a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug (while supplies last) and a coupon for free medium coffee.

Special Olympics Illinois Global Messenger, Mallory Taylor, and Deputy Frank Babbiano from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office visited the ABC 7 State Street Studios to talk about the upcoming fun.
