2 arrested for Wheaton package thefts

WHEATON, Ill. (WLS) -- Wheaton police arrested two women and charged them with multiple counts of burglary in connection with numerous package thefts from an apartment building.

Erin Fessler, 41, of Wheaton was charged with three counts of burglary, and Shannon Madera, 41, of Aurora was charged with one count of burglary, all felonies. Bond was set at $40,000 for Fessler and $25,000 for Madera; both women have posted bond.

The women are charged in connection with package thefts from the secure mail room at 2 Wheaton Center, police said.
