2 hospitalized after vehicle collides with motorcycle in Harvard

HARVARD, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people were hospitalized after a vehicle collided with a motorcycle in Harvard, police said.

Robert Hoffman, the driver of the vehicle, was driving eastbound on E. Diggins Street when his vehicle collided with the motorcycle as it was driving southbound on N. Jefferson Street around 4:41 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The driver of the motorcycle, 48, and its passenger, 17, were both flown to area hospitals. The occupants of the vehicle were treated at the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate.
