CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago firefighters rescued several people, including an infant, after flames spread from one apartment building to another near 44th and South Honore in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
The 1-year-old child was taken to Comer Children's Hospital. A second victim was also transported to a local hospital. Neither of their conditions is known.
The fire was struck just after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and CFD crews continue to go floor-to-floor in the buildings.
