2 teens injured in South Side shooting
At least two teenagers were injured in a shooting on the South Side Monday afternoon.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- At least two teenagers were injured in a shooting on the South Side Monday afternoon.

Police say the victims were in the hallway of a building on the 5700-block of South Michigan in the city's Washington Park neighborhood around 4:45 p.m. Monday when the offenders walked up and opened fire before fleeing the scene.

ABC7 Eyewitness News spoke to a friend with the victims and he said one of those shot is just 13 years old.

One of the victims was shot in the chest and taken to Comer Children's Hospital, while the other victim was shot in the left arm and is in stable condition at an area hospital.

Police said they believe the shooting was gang-related.
