MALDEF holds annual gala

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund celebrated its annual gala Thursday night.

The evening celebrated three people for their work to protect the rights of Latinos in Chicago and across the country.

ABC7 Eyewitness News' Michelle Gallardo served as emcee for the event.
