Golfer Phil Mickelson rides Metra to LPGA tournament in Olympia Fields

OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. (WLS) -- Phil Mickelson rode the Metra on Monday to get to the LPGA tournament in south suburban Olympia Fields.

During the trip, he said that being a father is more important than any golf tournament - ever. The golf pro made news when he skipped the U.S. Open to attend his daughter's high school graduation.

Monday was the pro-am. Tournament play starts on Thursday.
