'Queen of Smiles' Catrise Austin gives tips for a whiter smile at home

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Teeth whitening can reap big rewards.

A recent survey from Proctor & Gamble showed that 58 percent of participants were more likely to be hired and 53 percent received larger salary offers after their teeth had been whitened, and a survey of adults found that 96 percent think an attractive smile makes someone more appealing to the opposite sex.

Those treatments can cost hundreds at the dentist's office - but there are a few techniques that can be done at home to get a whiter smile. Self-proclaimed "Queen of Smiles" Dr. Catrise Austin answered questions about teeth whitening and what natural and organic products can make teeth brighter.
