CHICAGO (WLS) -- Large crowds flocked to North Avenue Beach and along Chicago's lakefront this weekend for the two-day 2017 Chicago Air & Water Show.

The weather was clear for both days as the jets zigzagged across Lake Michigan and the skyline for the 59th annual event. Dozens of pilots performed in several types of aircrafts.

The show also featured Illinois resident and international commercial pilot Susan Dacy, the only woman to fly in this year's show.
