CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Cook County Medical Examiner released a sketch of a toddler found in a burning Markham home.

Firefighters found the body of the young child, who the medical examiner estimates is between 9 months and 2 years old, in the attic of a burning vacant home in the south suburb in early July.

The victim, who remains unidentified, is an African American girl with pierced ears and black hair. She was found with a white Geraminals brand onesie with hot pink flowers in size six to nine months; a dark blue size nine month onesie with white polka dots and red stitched trim; black and white leopard print fleece pants with pink paw foot coverings, and a cat face and ears on the seat of the pants; a diaper; a dark blue, white, red, and light blue patterned blanket with frayed edges and doll embroidering; and a light pink fleece blanket with light blue, light pink and hot pink elephants on it.

If you recognize the child or have any information about her identity or family, contact the Markham Police Department or the Cook County Medical Examiner's office at 312-666-0500.
