WalletHub released a report on Tuesday naming 2017's best and worst places to raise a family in the United States.

Analysts compared the 150 most populated U.S. cities based on key metrics that take essential family dynamics into account, such as the cost of living, the quality of school and healthcare systems and opportunities for fun.

Chicago ranked No. 31 on the list, but southwest suburban Aurora made the top 15, coming in at No. 11.

Minneapolis just missed the top 5, placing sixth on the list. St. Paul, Minn. is No. 14 and Des Moines, Iowa, is No. 15.

Other cities in the Midwest ranked a bit lower, with Fort Wayne, Ind., at No. 46, Grand Rapids, Mich., at No. 68, Milwaukee at No. 90, Indianapolis at No. 93 and Detroit at No. 149.
