Candy and canines at adoption event
CHICAGO (WLS) -- If you're looking for a new pet and want to satisfy your sweet tooth, there's an upcoming event that can help you do both! Dylan's Candy Bar and PAWS Chicago are hosting an Adopt-A-Sweetie Adoption event on September 23, 2017 from 12pm-4pm.
The family-friendly event features adoptable dogs and puppies looking to find loving homes. PAWS Chicago will also be receiving 10% of all candy sales to help their cause.
Adopters will receive a Dylan's Candy Bar paint can to fill with candy, and all attendees will receive free ice cream. Dylan Lauren, the Founder and CEO of Dylan's Candy Bar and Dylan's Candy BarN, along with Tammy Whelan from PAWS Chicago, visited the ABC 7 State Street Studios to share the fun of their upcoming event.
