Apple engineer fired after daughter posts video about unreleased iPhone X

CUPERTINO, Calif. (WLS) -- An engineer with Apple was allegedly fired for viral video posted online by his daughter.

Brooke Amelia Peterson was visiting her father at work when she shot video of the iPhone X prior to its release, ABC News reports. She posted the video on YouTube.

At one point, viewers could see code names for un-released Apple products in the notes app.

The daughter then posted a new video saying that her father has been fired.
