Loyola student groped near campus, school says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Loyola University of Chicago has issued an alert for students after a sexual abuse incident near campus.

Officials say it happened near Devon and Sheridan road on the city's North Side around 8 p.m. Monday.

According to the chief of campus safety, the victim was walking when a man approached and touched the student inappropriately.

Loyola students are urged to stay alert. Anyone with information should contact police.
