3 trapped in Ritz-Carlton elevator

An elevator at the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood malfunctioned, trapping three people inside.

Rescue workers were able to quickly free two people, but had trouble getting to an elderly woman inside, officials said, but were eventually able to get her out.

All three people are OK.

The express elevator opens on the ground floor and 33rd floor, but became stuck about ten floors up.
