Chicago police have asked for the public's help identifying a robbery suspect who pulled out a gun with a 3-year-old child just feet away. (WLS)

Chicago police have asked for the public's help identifying a robbery suspect who pulled out a gun with a 3-year-old child just feet away.

Surveillance video shows the suspect in an armed robbery in the 1700-block of West 47th Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood at about 1:50 p.m. last Monday, Jan. 29.

The child was walking behind a desk after the suspect pulled out a gun. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Investigators said the suspect was wearing an orange Bears cap and a red hoodie.
