Shaving heads for childhood cancer research at St. Baldrick's event
St. Baldrick's Head-Shaving Event will be held Friday.

St. Baldrick's head-shaving events raise money for childhood cancer research. Jack Czapla is a seventh grader from Mundelein, Ill., diagnosed with leukemia when he was just 4 years old. Jack will be shaving his head for the eighth time on March 2 at the Franklin Park Fire Department head-shaving event in River Grove, Ill.

Hours: 5:30 p.m. - 11:45 p.m.; Head-shaving begins at 7 p.m.
