'Southern Gothic' immerses audiences in 1960s Georgia
A new play at Windy City Playhouse offers and immersive experience.

Amy Rubenstein, Windy City Playhouse Artistic Director and co-creator of the new immersive play "Southern Gothic," stopped by WCL Thursday.

"Southern Gothic" gives audiences the opportunity to be a "fly on the wall" as four couples celebrate a birthday at a cocktail party in Ashford, Georgia in the 1960s. Audiences are free to roam every room in the home at will, explore various spaces and eavesdrop on clandestine conversations. Each audience member leaves with a unique perspective on the evenings proceedings.

Due to the intimate nature of the show, audience size is limited to 28 patrons per performance.
