Father of 3 on life support as police investigate shooting
A Crestwood man is on life support as police continue to investigate the shooting in Robbins.

A 56-year-old man who was shot while driving last week in south suburban Robbins has been taken off life support.

Bill Dolehide,a father of three, was driving to a Crestwood soccer club board meeting when he was shot in the head inside his car on 135th Street just before 6 p.m. Wednesday. His death has been ruled a homicide, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.

Dolehide family had intended to donate his organs.

The shooting remained under investigation on Sunday. A second driver was also shot.

Dolehide and the second victim were innocent victims caught in gun crossfire, sources said.
