Baby found in Safe Haven box in Indiana

COOLSPRING, Ind. (WLS) -- A baby was found alive in a Safe Haven box in Northwest Indiana Sunday.

The infant was found at the Coolspring Fire Department at approximately 7 p.m. and appears to be in good health.

This is the second baby in five months to be found in the fire department's box.

The Safe Haven box is heated and alerts officials when a baby is placed inside.
