Thieves attack employees during Walgreens robbery

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Walgreens in Greektown early Saturday.

Police said a customer told employees that three men were leaving with items they didn't pay for. The employees tried to stop the men outside the store, located near Monroe and Halsted Streets, and the men attacked the employees.

The employees were not seriously injured. No suspects are in custody.
