6 hurt, including firefighter, after Logan Square house fire

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Six people, including a firefighter, were injured after a fire at a house in the Logan Square neighborhood Saturday morning, the Chicago Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded at about 7:55 a.m. for a fire in the 2600-block of West Homer Street. Two people were taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, two were transported to Saint Mary Hospital and one to Norwegian American Hospital in fair condition. A firefighter was also taken to St. Mary Hospital in fair condition

The fire spread to a house next door and was struck out Saturday morning.
