7 shot in Indy's Broad Ripple neighborhood

INDIANAPOLIS (WLS) -- Seven people were shot early Saturday morning in Indianapolis.

It happened in the Broad Ripple neighborhood, which is home to several bars and restaurants.

One man is in critical condition. Five other men and a woman have non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say it was a typical night out when someone opened fire in the crowd.

No one has been arrested and a motive for the shooting is not known.
