83-year-old man with dementia missing from Englewood

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are asking for the public's help finding Hercules Chaney, 83, who was reported missing from Chicago's Englewood neighborhood.

Chaney, who suffers from dementia, left his home in the 6900-block of South Ada Street on Monday and did not return. Police said Chaney likes to walk in the alleys in the area of West 63rd and South Halsted streets.

The 83-year-old African American man has a light complexion, gray hair, brown eyes and weighs around 150 lbs. He was wearing a black knit hat, a blue hooded coat, blue jeans and black shoes when he went missing.
