ORLAND PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Allan Kustok, who was sentenced to 60 years in prison for killing his wife, filed a motion Tuesday to have his sentence reduced.
Kustok was convicted of the crime in March, and sentenced on Dec. 10. Prosecutors say that in September of 2010, Kustok used a .357 Magnum and shot his wife in the face as she slept. They said his motivation was his lifestyle, which included extramarital affairs.
A judge is considering the motion.
