Bat flies through live newscast
A bat made an unexpected on-air appearance during a morning newscast in Tennessee

Move over Batman, there's a new flying mammal making news.

While taping their Good Morning Tennessee program, ABC affiliate WATE in Knoxville had a bat fly into their studio. The anchors become clearly flustered, trying to dive and dodge away from the flying mammal. That bat briefly goes away for a moment, allowing the anchors to gather their cool, but then shoots back into the picture. The video above details the horrifying ordeal.

Thank goodness though that officials at the station were able to capture the bat, and report that it will be released into a nice wooded area.
