CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of honeybees swarmed Chicago's West Loop neighborhood, but Monday night they have a new home.

The bees were camped out in a tree in front of The Aviary, the cocktail lounge created by famed Chicago chef Grant Achatz.

An expert was called in to gently scoop an estimated 40,000 bees into contains. They were then taken to an apiary in North Lawndale.
