Buffalo Grove woman speaks out about intruder
Police believe one man may be behind two recent attacks and home invasions in north suburban Buffalo Grove.

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Buffalo Grove police reported Tuesday that a home invasion that occurred in the 1100-block of Miller Lane in Buffalo Grove Saturday did not involve a sexual assault.

However, the victim, who does not want to be identified, claims she was in fact sexually assaulted.

"I was sexually assaulted, he was on top of me. But it is very hard for me to stay in this house," she said. "He said to me things like, 'I like you, I want you.'"

The victim says she struggled with the alleged offender in the bedroom.

"I struggled, we tried to fight in one room, then we came in another room, we fight and he tried to put his hands in my neck... He just ran away," the victim said.

The victim was taken to Northwest Community Hospital where she spent the entire day taking tests, getting injections and medicine because she feared he may have infected her.

"Who knows what he had. I'm scared very much because I don't want him to some kind of ills," the victim said.

The victim said police told her another woman in the apartment complex had come forward saying that she may have had a similar experience in July.

The victim came from Moldavia three months ago looking for a better life.

"I want other women to know what happened with me, I want them to be very careful," the victim said.

The victim says she feels as though the offender had been stalking her. She also said that he was not wearing any shoes, and she thinks that he may live in the area or even the same complex.
