CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago-area janitors are calling for better jobs and wages as dozens rallied outside the Willis Tower Monday.

Bargaining has begun for a new union contract; the janitors, who work in offices across Chicagoland, are asking the corporations that hire them for wage increases that will keep them out of poverty.

The janitors' current contract expires April 5.
