CHICAGO (WLS) -- An 11-year-old Chicago boy is launching a toy drive for kids who were victims of recent tornadoes in northern Illinois.

Sam Love is a fifth grader at Beasley Elementary. He's held toy drives for the last three Christmas seasons. The first helped kids impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

"Whenever these types of devastation happen, I always think about kids that were affected by the storm," Sam said.

He's collecting unwrapped toys and gift cards to help young victims of the recent tornadoes.

New, unwrapped toys can be brought to:

- Josephine's (Capt. Hard Times) Restaurant, 436 E. 79th Street

- Beasley Elementary School, 5255 S. State Street

- Studio Movie Grill Chatham Theater, 210 W. 87th Street
