Chicago cop accused of DUI, shooting at Merrionette Park officer who tried to pull him over

MERRIONETTE PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- A Chicago police officer is accused of shooting at a suburban officer who tried to pull him over.

The Chicago officer was allegedly driving erratically when a cop from Merrionette Park tried to stop him. Both of them were off-duty.

When the suburban officer caught up with him, the Chicago cop reportedly got out of his vehicle and fired his gun.

No one was hurt.

The Chicago officer was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
