Police: 1 killed, 1 injured in wrong-way crash on Skyway

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was killed in a vehicle going the wrong way in the inbound lanes of the Chicago Skyway near 92nd Street Saturday, Chicago police said.

Police said a Jeep Patriot was driving the wrong way on the inbound lanes of the Skyway near 92nd Street when it hit a Dodge Caravan at about 9:40 p.m.

A 55-year-old man who police said was driving the Dodge Caravan was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His identity has not been released by authorities. A 70-year-old man who was driving the Jeep was transported to Christ Hospital in critical condition.
