Chicago's Ukrainian community celebrates heritage

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's Ukrainian community celebrates its heritage and culture this weekend during Uketoberfest.

The two-day festival took place at Saint Joseph the Betrothed Ukranian Catholic Church on Chicago's Northwest Side.

People enjoyed Ukrainian music and plenty of good food.

Sunday night, church officials presented an award to ABC7 Eyewitness News anchor Ravi Baichwal for news coverage of the Ukrainian community.
