CHICAGO (WLS) -- Elevated CTA trains are experiencing delays in Chicago's Loop during the Wednesday evening rush hour, the transit agency said.

Brown, Green, Orange, Purple and Pink Line trains were delayed by a switching problem at Clark/Lake around 5:30 p.m.

The CTA said the switching problem has been resolved, but "significant" delays continue due to the backlog of trains.
