CHICAGO (WLS) -- A brand new playground is open in Chicago's Burnside Park.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel and other city leaders were on hand Sunday afternoon for the grand opening.

This is part of the mayor's plan to build or rehab more than 100 parks across the city.

He wants every kid to live within a ten minute walk to a park or playground.
